DAY 1:ARRIVAL CAIRO
Arrive at the Cairo International Airport where you will be assisted through the immigrations. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo

DAY 2: CITY TOUR
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel followed by leisure. Later proceed for a city tour to enjoy the Captivating city of Cairo.

Highlights of the day:

1. Memphis

This the oldest capital of Egypt built by King Menes. It lies 24 kms south-west of Cairo. It exhibits the colossal statue of Ramses II in the museum made of fine-grained limestone, 13 meters long weighing 120 tons. Temple for Embalming the Sacred Apis Bull is also here.

2. Saqqarra

This is the oldest Cementry in Ancient Egypt. Lying on a desert plateau, south-west of Cairo. Here rises the Step-Pyramid and mortuary compound which was built by the engineer lmhotep for King Zoser which is composed of six receding mastabas on top of each other.

The Pyramid measures 123.5 by 107 m at the base and about 59 m in height. South lies the Pyramid of Unas, last of the V Dynasty pharaohs. The tomb chamber walls are inscribed with the "Pyramid Texts" and ceiling is decorated with stars.

Also near Pyramid of Unas lies the Persian Shaft, a tomb of XXVI (Persian) Dynasty which is 25 m deep. The cemetry also houses the Serapeum (Temple of Serapis).

Close to it Serapeum lies the Greek Philosophers Circle, containing statues of Plato, Heraklites, Pythagoras and Pindar. South-west of the Step-Pyramid lies the Mastabas of Ptah-Hotep, Kagemni, Ti, and Mereruka which contain numerous mural paintings and inscriptions portraying daily farming and hunting activities, wildlife scenery, medical practices, and religious and funerary rites of ancient Egypt.

3. The Pyramids of Giza

This is Egypt’s most visited monuments and among the worlds greatest tourist attractions. They are the only ones surviving of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

4. The Sphinx

This is thought to be the portrait of Chepren carved from a single piece of stone.The potrait is a lion with the head of a pharaoh.



5. The Perfumery

This is where the Egyptians have been extracting essential oils for essences. You have a chance to experience the aromas which include,The secrets of the deser, "The lotus" and almost all popular international designer perfumes and colognes.

DAY 3: FULL DAY IN CAIRO AND NILE CRUISE
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the full day tour

Highlights of the day:

1. The Khan-El-Khalili

This is the most famous of oriental bazaars which is a treasure of trove of medieval craftsmanship.

2. Egyptian Museum

Here you will have a chance to witness the Egyptian antiquest dating back to about 5000years

3. Coptic Cairo

Here you will have a chance to visit The hanging church (AL MUALLAQA) - built in the 4th century over southern gate of the fortress of Babylon and dedicated to Virgin Mary which its treasures includes a 14 the century wall painting of the Nativity of ancient Egypt.

A 5th century Church of St.Sergius (ABU SERGA) a basilica built over crypt where the Holy Family is believed to have stayed during their flight into Egypt.

Church of Saint Mercurius (ABU SEFEIN) where a unique collection of Coptic art including 175 icons that depict scenes from the old and new testaments, wall paintings, etching and stained glass are being housed. Greek Orthodox Church of Mari Girgis which is built on one of the towers of Babylon Fortress, this basilica is round in structure with domed roof.

4. Pharonic Village

This is an ancient Egyptian cityin the modern recreation where actors and actresses perform all the daily activities and arts of the ancient Egyptians, including agriculture, pottery, sculpture, weaving, and much more as they were exactly during the ancient times.

5. The Nile Cruise Dinner
Later return to the hotel to freshen up and meet at the hotel lounge at 1900hrs for transfer to the Nile cruising dinner for an oriental night.
