LOCATION:

Located 160 kms from Arusha,this is an exclusive camp close to the Tarangire National Park with its magnificent baobab trees and great diversity of wildlife. This small, permanent camp is situated just outside the park and has easy access to the park as well as having a large concession area of its own.

NUMBER OF ROOMS & DESCRIPTION:

1. Six large, luxury, walk-in tents, screened all the way around for maximum air circulation and spaced about 100 metres apart.
2. Each tent is furnished with wooden beds, coffee tables and camp-style wardrobes.
3. Private bathroom facilities (long-drop style toilet and bucket shower) are located behind each tent.
4. There is no running water.

OTHER FACILITIES & SERVICES:

1. The dining area is under canvas and the bar houses an extensive library - showing wildlife documentaries every night - and a telescope.
2. A generator is used during the day and kerosene lamps supply light in the tents.
3. The camp offers guided game walks and exciting day/night game drives.
4. In addition luxury mobile camping, simple fly camping and nights out at the sister permanent base camp are available and highly recommended.
5. A resident naturalist is available.
